Weight Loss Nearly everyone at some point in their lives wishes to lose weight. Whether it be for a holiday so that you can look good on the beach, or because those size 10 trousers just don’t seem to be as loose as they were a year ago. Or maybe there’s been a bit too much indulging with the lads on nights out recently. In these cases only a slight weight reduction is needed and although hypnosis could help Tom would more likely look at your diet and how you live to see if there are any small changes you could make to do it easily. First we are told that fat is bad, then the next day ‘you must eat your good fats to be healthy’. We are told that complex carbohydrates are good for you but then the Atkin’s diet promotes very low carbs and people lose shedloads of weight on it. So no wonder people are confused. Also you may have a problem with stopping yourself eating, its easily done – a few biscuits here and there, pack of crisps with a coffee, extra scoop of ice cream at dinner. A basic equation for fat storage is as follows Calories in (eaten) – Calories Burnt (exercise, walking etc) = Calories stored Now most hypnotherapists will deliver a weight loss script and that will be the end of the session. However Tom has a high level of nutritional knowledge gained from his years as a bodybuilder and athlete which he can apply to your weight loss therapy. Tom can assess your diet and help you to understand what foods may be triggering the weight gain. He can help you to learn about why certain foods should be eaten in conjunction with others and what foods to avoid combining so that your goal of weight loss is even easier. Its this sort of enhanced service that has meant that Tom’s clients achieve their weight loss targets without fail. Tom will issue most of his clients with a Diet Diary so that between treatments you can note what you eat and this can then be assessed in the session with Tom so that you can be sure that you are not holding yourself back with a mistake in your diet. Tom feels that this sort of approach assists his clients greatly as they are more involved with their weight loss and can see progress. Normal weight loss targets are between 1-2 lbs a week depending on the persons starting weight. Hypnosis sessions will normally require a 3 session plan so that Tom can assess progress between sessions and adapt the treatment accordingly. Normally after this time only a quick 10 minute progress meeting will be required every few weeks and there will be no charge for this unless an additional hypnosis session is required. Tom takes his weight loss clients very seriously as he knows how weight can be a depressing factor in people’s lives.
