Many people when thinking of hypnosis have an image of a stage hypnotist and his victims performing outrageous acts and therefore this creates a feeling of uneasiness about the process. Performance hypnosis is much different. We help our client to achieve a state of deep relaxation through a variety of focussing techniques. Once you are relaxed enough then the work of coaching your right side of the brain will begin. Many of the issues that we face in everyday life are clouded by stress and the impact of outside factors upon us. Stress causes the left side of the brain to become more active and therefore can impact on the hypnotherapy methods as you will start to make conscious decisions that fly against your better judgement. Using right brain coaching we can show you how to reduce the impact of these factors so that you can make decisions clearly and with a strong mental focus.
Performance hypnosis will allow you to equip yourself with the necessary tools to fight these urges or temptations so that your goals become instinctual but you will also have the conscious ability to prevent stress from affecting you. At the same time as part of your treatment we will show you how to perform self hypnosis so that you can practice the techniques you learn with us at home for a greater compound effect. |
